Vaporizers and Your Pet’s Life

Just as a vaporizer is an essential component for good health in the home for humans, the same is true for indoor pets. It is quite common for many households to keep cats, dogs, hamsters, snakes, guinea pigs and a number of other animals inside the home as a family pet. Good air quality and proper climactic conditions are just as important to the well being of pets as it is for humans and in some cases, even more so.

Pets are susceptible to bacteria, viruses, allergies, and respiratory conditions just as we are, and using a vaporizer to guard against illness and infection is very important to the health of household pets. Proper humidity created by a vaporizer in the home also sets environmental conditions favorable to the development of strong immune systems in very young pets and aids in the growth of healthy skin and coats.

Indoor cats are particularly susceptible to allergies and upper respiratory infections. Many household products act as allergens to cats and can trigger an episode of sneezing and coughing as well as watery eyes and runny noses. For a cat, such an episode can go from bad to worse very quickly and move from an upper respiratory infection to a lower respiratory infection and cause critical health issues.

To prevent this, you can use a vaporizer in your home to replace the dry air with more humid air. The humid air from the vaporizer helps to moisturize nasal passages, bronchial tubes and other areas of a cat’s respiratory system. This allows them to filter out many bacteria and other harmful pollutants and decreases the likelihood of developing infection. Although not as prevalent, the same holds true for dogs and other pets with similar respiratory systems.

For very young pets, a strong immune system is vital to growth and development. As they are more recently weaned from antibodies acquired from the mother, it is crucial to create an environment that is conducive to developing a strong immune system to ward off bacteria.

A vaporizer provides the necessary moisture for growing bodies and developing respiratory systems to trap and expel harmful elements and can also be used with herbal blends known to decrease the spread of viruses and bacteria.

The needs of the skin of animals and more specifically indoor pets are not that different from our own bodies. Human skin requires moisture to regenerate and grow healthy and so does the skin and hair of pets.

A vaporizer adds moisture to the air that is absorbed by the skin, whether it be feline, canine, or reptile, that is used by the skin to replenish itself. Moisture from the air as provided by a home vaporizer gives pets a shinier coat and healthier skin and makes for an overall healthier pet.
