World Of Warcraft Tips - How To Level Fast
Filed Under Computer Games
World of Warcraft is the most popular MMORPG currently played. The game offers a variety of play styles, countless quests, and over a hundred different instances for players to explore.
What makes the multiplayer game so addicting? Besides being extremely enjoyable, I believe players appreciate the game as much as they do because it is difficult to accomplish objectives and level your character to its highest level (currently level 80). Much like life, great accomplishments take time and energy to achieve. If Blizzard’s developers had devised a game system that allowed for easy leveling, very few people would be still be playing World of Warcraft.
Outside of playing the game twenty-four hours a day or hiring a leveling service, you can expect it will take you at least three to four months of everyday game play before you character will reach level 80. Even then, when you finally reach the highest character level possible, there are many other achievements left for you to accomplish. There are so many, in fact, that you will never achieve all of them unless you truly play the game as if it were a full time job.
So how does one level their character as fast as possible in World of Warcraft without breaking Blizzard’s terms of service agreement? There are a few ways to accomplish speed leveling without putting your account at risk.
Questing is arguably the fastest way to level your character. With questing, you will need to speak to certain non-player characters and perform the tasks they request of you. Questing can be boring at times. However, for new players, questing provides more than quick leveling: it teaches them the mechanics of game play and how to use their character’s special abilities in certain situations. If you’re new to the game, the easiest way to become familiar with game play is to complete quests with your character every day that you play. You will quickly learn how to use your character and you will also discover different regions of the World of Warcraft continents.
If you’re going to quest, there is a great add-on that is free to download and use. It is called Quest Helper. The interface displays the shortest route to completing the current quests in your log book. It shows the path on the map with a trail of “marching ants”. I highly recommend this add-on to both beginners and seasoned players. It really makes leveling a breeze.
Another method for gaining experience and leveling your character is by grouping with other players and completing instances. You will gain gold, find rare items, and learn how to interact with other players. Most importantly, you will quickly learn the most valuable role of your character while playing with groups.
The last method for leveling requires very little thinking: it is called Mob Grinding. To engage in this type of leveling, you simply find an area with mobs that are close to your level and you start eliminating them. It’s brainless work and you can accumulate experience rather quickly. However, it does get incredibly boring!
To fully enjoy World of Warcraft while you’re leveling your character, I suggest you engage in all three methods of leveling. It will keep the game fun and you will learn how to play the game through your own devices. By learning the game in this manner, you will be better equipped to handle the large player raids that are played by organized guilds when you finally reach level 80.
